Excitement Builds Globally For West African Fashion Week!

St. EVE Magazine is a quarterly publication that focuses mainly on Health, Beauty, and Fashion. It is in the class of other international publications in terms of quality, editorial content and picture clarity. St EVE Magazine is also notable for their involvement in the promotion and organization of various Fashion Events.

In 2013, St. EVE organized the first ever fashion show tagged “ST. EVE MAGAZINE FASHION ON THE TERRACE” which held atIntercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island; the first of its kind “Outdoor Roof – Top Event”. This fashion show provided a platform for creative designers to display their art and designs.

With the success of “Fashion on the Terrance”, they put together another fashion show in 2014 called “ST EVE WEST AFRICAN FASHION WEEK” with the theme “FASHION IN THE SAVANNAH” which took place at the Eko Hotel and Suites Victoria Island Lagos. This event was also a resounding success with various fashion designers on the runway.

This year they are putting together another glamorous fashion show called “ST EVE WEST AFRICAN FASHION WEEK”. The theme for the fashion show is “FASHION IS ART”. They decided to take this event a notch higher with a classy fusion of Fashion & Art. The highlight of this fashion show will be the use of Artistic Fashion Prints, Art Exhibitions, Live Portrait Drawings and the presence of top international designers from Nigeria and Africa. This event will also be packed with exhibitions, auction sales, and elegant models on the Runway. The brain behind ST. EVE WEST AFRICAN FASHION WEEK is Evelyn Okere, the publisher of St. EVE Magazine and Creative Director of Rose Di Omimi Couture, whose got a knack for the extraordinary and has made a choice of pursuing what she enjoys. Evelyn is multi-talented, outspoken, driven, committed, hardworking and diligent woman. Her focus and passion for the world of fashion makes her a force to be reckoned with!

She has worked her way up various ladders in life and has accomplished so much in her life time yet she strives to accomplish much more. An astute entrepreneur and a career driven person, she passionately strives for success and excellence in any field she steps her foot into. Ms. Okere strives to bring opportunities to the many talented people in Nigeria that would otherwise be overlooked. She would like to put Nigeria on the international stage in the fashion world! In addition to the fashion week Ms. Odere holds educational classes to help those aspiring to have a career in the world of fashion.

The event is September 8th-10th, 2017 Eko Atlantic City, Victoria Island Lagos Nigeria. There is a competition to find the next big star in the fashion industry in the following categories; modeling, hairstylist, makeup artistry, fashion designer and photography. The prize winners in each category will be given global exposure in their respective fields. Ms. Okere’s dream is to bring international fashion icons like Karl Lagerfeld to Nigeria.
